Navigating the New Bobclass app

Downloading (updating)

The New Bobclass app will be available in the App Store in the third week of November. Depending on your device's settings, it may automatically download. If not, you can  download it.  Note that it is available for iOS, iPadOS and for MacOS (Apple Silicon only) a week later. The Android version will be published in early December.

New app icon

The New Bobclass app has a new app icon. It still has the letter "B", so it is easy to find. Click or tap to on the icon to open the app.

Logging in

Email: This your existing user id, most likely your email address. If you don't remember it, or don't use the old email address anymore, then contact me at  rob@bobclass.com
Password: This is the password that you used for the old app. If you don't remember in, then click the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the screen.

Once you have logged in, it may take up to 10 seconds to load all the data. You will land on the calendar week view.

Calendar

You can view your classes and appointments in the week or day view. In the week view, you can find three buttons in the top row:
  • Toggle view: 3, 5 and 7 day
  • Reset the view back to today
  • Refresh the calendar. This may be useful when you made an update on a second device and don't want to wait for the calendar to auto-update, which is a bit slower.

Inbox and timeline

Incoming booking requests from your clients will appear here. A red badge icon appears on the bottom navigation bar where there is one or more request waiting for you to approve.
You can click the requests to see more details. Note the icon on the left of the request, where is says "New", which means that this client is unknown to you. On the other hand, a smiley icon means the client is known.

The Timeline view shows a list of all events that happened, such as bookings or cancellations that were made by clients.

Clients

The client view you lets you find a client quickly by using the search field at the top. Just start typing.
You can also filter the client list. The default applied filter is "Active clients only" and you can also filter for clients with or without bookings or products, or their preferred activity. The latter is defined in their profile).
Clicking a client will show their details. From here you can drill down even deeper into their bookings, sales and payments. Note that progress notes are not in yet, and will be added by end of November. The notes are still stored in cloud in any case.

Overview

The overview page lets you see all bookings, sales and payments across all your clients together.

Settings

Settings are similar to the old Bobclass app, we just tidied things up a bit in more meaningful groupings.
