Bobclass standout strength
There is a many alternative software solutions in the market that also offer scheduling and client management, each with its specific strength. However, how we see it, most software can be grouped as follows:
- Specific appointment scheduling such Acuity Scheduling, Calendly, Setmore. The focus is on end clients picking time slots for a session, which is typical the case for beauty treatments, therapy or private sessions. These solutions are mostly easy to use and affordable but lack functionality for group classes.
- Full fitness or yoga studio solutions such a MindBody, WellnessLiving, Pike13. The focus is on having as many features a possible to cover the wide range of needs of large studios with thousands of clients, often with multiple locations. Feature-wise these solutions are hard to beat but the complexity and high price make it a terrible match for smaller studios. Also, these are large corporations where customer support is slow and bureaucratic. On top of that, fees are charged for almost everything, including credit card transaction fees.
