Launching in the next 14 days: Important instructions

The New Bobclass will be launched in the next 14 days. Please read the following to prepare.

Here’s how to prepare for the switch:


1.  Find your cloud account login
  • In the current app, go to Settings > Bobclass Cloud.
  • Note your cloud user ID (in most cases this is an email address) and write it down. You’ll need it to log in to the new app.
  • If your user id is an email address that you don't use anymore, let us know, and we can change it to a different email address (please tell us which one).
If you see that you are not logged in, then do the following:
Go to Settings > Help & Feedback and send us a short message.
Make sure to attach the diagnostics file when asked) and we will assist you.

2.  The New Bobclass app uses the same password as the current app.
  • If you're not sure about your current password, don't worry, as it can be easily reset in the new app.

3.  Make yourself familiar with the new design
  • The new app was designed for ease-of-use but we recommend that you have a quick look to anticipate what the new app looks like and how to navigate it
  • The functionality is roughly the same but some things have moved around. See specific sections on:
  •  Navigating the New Bobclass⁠ 
  •  Class/appointment scheduling⁠ 
  •  Online booking⁠ 
  •  Selling products⁠ 

4. This is a phased roll-out
We want to bring the new app in your hands as early as possible with all the core functionalities supported. This said, other functionalities have been postponed and will be added soon after go-live. These are:
  • Import calendar functionality. We plan to improve this to make it device independent. This may take a little longer.
  • Walk-in flow
  • "Use someone else's package" on checkout
  • Selling "on the fly" while doing checkout
  • Bulk editing classes

5. Supported devices
The new Bobclass is initially focussed on smaller mobile screens. However, it will run on:
  • iOS
  • iPadOS
  • MacOS - only Macs with Apple Silicon (M1-M5). Macs sold in the last 5 years have this chip. You can check clicking on the Apple logo in the top left > About this Mac.
  • Android will be available very soon after go-live
  • Windows and/or web we plan to deploy in a few months' time
Note that we are working on optimizing the app for larger screens as well; having for example side panels while looking at the calendar
